Hello world!

Okay, “plain steamed vegetables” if you must, but, where’s the fun in that? This is the ultimate example of a dish I thought I’d never be happy eating as an entree, but, sometimes you just want a nice, clean meal after a weekend of eating out. This makes a quick side dish, too.You can use any vegetables you have lying around the fridge and try switching out the water with broth or orange juice.

A 4 cup mix of cauliflower and broccoli florets, diced red onion, red pepper and jalapeno. Steam in a vented covered bowl in the microwave for 7 minutes with 2 tablespoons of water. Serve with Parmesan cheese and an array of dressings and condiments.
